Meet Bella Shamsuddin, our Skin Consultant/Certified Laser Technician. She has several years experience in the field of Aesthetics. After graduating from Etowah High School in 1992, she received technical training in Cosmetology which included aesthetic study. She continued her educational training at Gadsden State Community College while working at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in the Invasive Cardiology Department (Cardiac Cath Lab) as a Cardiovascular Technologist. After 5 years of special training assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures, she transferred to Hokes Bluff Family Practice to assist Dr. Henry M. Born with labs, x-rays, EKG's and routine holistic care of all patients. Introducing Botox to the Family Care Practice led to further study into Medical Aesthetics with a special emphasis on Non-Surgical Cosmetic Enhancement procedures. With this new knowledge and training, she joined with a physician and started Bella Donna Cosmetic Clinic in Gadsden, Alabama. She is now here at Isis Medispa assisting Dr. Groves and Dr. Britt with Non-Invasive Aesthetic Laser procedures, Botox injections, Dermal Fillers and Microdermabrasion. Originally from Detroit, she has travelled across the United States educating herself on the current styles and different personalities associated with each state. Krystal Raye Romero was born in Texas, but raised in Alabama. She attended Robins Beauty Academy and has a managing cosmetologist license. Missy Sanderson graduated from "The Masters" in Huntsville, Alabama. She assisted at David and Company in Huntsville before moving to Athens, Georgia (University of Georgia). She owned two salons spanning seventeen years and during that time continued her education. She worked with hairdressers in Atlanta doing platform work and teaching other hairdressers different techniques of highlighting, color, and hair cutting. She was voted "Best Hairdresser" in Athens, Georgia by the Athens Observer.

Carolyn Baker is a resident of Etowah County and has been in the beauty industry for 35 years. She is a graduate of Keevil Kurl Beauty School in 1969. After extensive training in hair removal, she obtained a certificate in Electrolysis. She is the Vice President of Alabama Electrolysis Association and is also a member of the NCEC. Carolyn has trained in the art of Permanent Make-up and is very skilled at this trade. She specializes in eyeliner, eyebrows, lipliner and full lip tatooing. She has owned her business in Gadsden for over 20 years and is highly recommended by clients and co-workers.
